SHOPMAX ONLINE STORE, since being founded in 2013, has strategically evolved to become a simplified, community-based e-commerce platform, based on both drop shipping and drop servicing principles. Our core business offerings, which include the use of our e-commerce platform, in conjunction with our professional business development, advertising and specialised social media marketing services, are bundled as all-inclusive business support packages, and offered to individuals and businesses across South Africa at competitive prices. We also have a Loyalty and Rewards Program for our customers, called MaxRewards, which offer our loyal customers significant and lifelong discounts and free shipping on all products ordered via our e-commerce store.
Our all-inclusive business support packages provide a convenient way for smart individuals, entrepreneurs and small business owners, to promote their businesses through our marketing and advertising channels, and to list and sell their products, general and professional services on our e-commerce platform, on a month-to-month basis, without any red tape, complex contracts or exorbitant costs involved.
Our 1st selling plan is a reseller program aiming to exclusively benefit unemployed individuals. The platform is based upon the establishment of a national Reseller Network (RN) across all 9 provinces of South Africa. It provides all prospective resellers with a stable work-from-home and training opportunity to earn a commission-based income during their extended periods of unemployment by selling SHOPMAX products in their respective cities/towns or across South Africa. We provide full training, setup, periodic marketing materials and ongoing support to each individual that joins our reseller program. All resellers earn 5% commission on each product sold. Joining our reseller program is FREE.
Our 2nd selling plan runs on our Marketplace platform and allow anybody who have a product to sell to list their specific product/s for R30 per month per product. This fee includes all administration, the listing of the product on our e-commerce store, as well as free marketing and advertising on both our website and Facebook to promote the seller’s product. When our registered seller’s product is sold to a customer via our e-commerce store, the seller receives payment upfront, save for a deduction of 1% as success fee for facilitating the transaction. The seller then facilitates the delivery of the product to the customer within the set and agreed timeframes.
Our 3rd selling plan also runs on our Marketplace platform and allows anybody who have a general service to offer in their regional area, city/town, to list their specific general service for R45 per month per service. This fee includes all administration, the listing of the general service on our e-commerce store, as well as free marketing and advertising on both our website and Facebook to promote the seller’s services. When our registered seller’s service is sold to a customer via our e-commerce store, the seller receives payment upfront, save for a deduction of 1% as success fee for facilitating the transaction. The seller then facilitates the delivery of the service to the customer within the set and agreed timeframes.
Our nationwide Service Provider Network (SPN) platform, allows professional services providers across South Africa and from various industries, to list and sell their professional service for R75 per month per regional area. As our ultimate marketing and selling plan for small businesses, joining the SPN comes with numerous BENEFITS, which include a searchable online profile, 24/7 advertising space, a dedicated graphics and video designer to create all your marketing content, access to a professional business development team and social media marketer to generate sales and leads for your business over a 12-month period.
When our registered seller’s professional service is sold to a customer via our e-commerce store, the seller receives payment upfront, save for a deduction of 1% as success fee for facilitating the transaction. The seller then facilitates the delivery of the professional service to the customer within the set timeframes. The e-commerce customer then become the client of the service provider for all future services, which don't have to be ordered via our e-commerce platform again, in essence the 1% success fee is only raised once.
Our utilized drop shipping business model, is both a strategic and cost saving retail fulfilment method, where no physical stock, are being held by SHOPMAX at any of its business locations. When an online order is placed by a client, the stock is directly sourced from local, national and international third-party suppliers , which can include registered resellers, wholesalers, manufacturers, retail suppliers or any of our product suppliers, registered on the SHOPMAX MARKETPLACE PLATFORM. The ordered stock, is then shipped directly from the selected product supplier , and subsequently delivered within a specified timeframe (usually within 3 – 10 business days when stock is available), to the client’s desired destination, whether being at home or at the office, but located anywhere within South Africa.
SHOPMAX is the first South African e-commerce store, who has adopted a drop servicing business model, where general and professional business services are listed and sold directly via our e-commerce platform at discounted or negotiated rates. The services are provided by both registered professional and specialised service providers across various industries, who have either joined our SERVICE PROVIDER NETWORK (SPN) or MARKETPLACE PLATFORMS. The business services ordered via our e-commerce store, are then rendered to the client by these specialist service providers within a set and agreed timeframe. Both our drop shipping and drop servicing business models, perfectly compliment the SHOPMAX core business offerings to our South African client base.
Our simplified cancellation policy of our service offerings, provides our customers with the peace of mind that they can cancel their product and service offerings placed with us at any given time, should they not be happy with our services, or should we not live up to any of the high customer service and ethical standards we have set, and endeavour to achieve, for our business.
